What You’ll Do:
Logistics & Operations:
- Collaborate with operations, fleet management, finance, and third-party vendors to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
- Work with engineering, safety, legal, and project teams to set and track daily, weekly, and monthly goals, procurement requests, and task lists.
- Define, communicate, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for team performance.
- Ensure regulatory and DOT compliance, including managing maintenance documentation and invoicing.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of site assets (trucks, equipment, parts, etc.), tracking location, value, depreciation, and damages.
- Utilize vendor knowledge to improve fuel efficiency, lower costs, and optimize vehicle performance.
- Quantify and analyze logistics-related costs and records (labor, mileage, fuel logs, maintenance, etc.).
- Monitor and communicate daily weather and road conditions, ensuring drivers avoid potential hazards.
- Assist with accident/incident investigations and communicate effectively with the operations team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the headquarters team, Daimler staff, Rouch drivers, and Torc’s team.
- Help create and maintain guidelines to protect company, site, and program documentation.
Business Administration:
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of employees.
- Manage fleet-related inventory and procurement of vehicle parts.
- Review and validate fleet expenses for proper allocation.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Experience in logistics, with a preference for experience in autonomous vehicle and trucking operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Technical Knowledge to optimize autonomous vehicle operations and understand the associated challenges and risks.
- Strong Communication Skills to effectively build relationships, present data, and communicate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and presentation tools.
- Organizational Skills to manage multiple programs and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Business Judgment and the ability to thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
- Ability to Maintain Confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Travel, Training, and Safety Requirements:
- Travel: Requires transportation to locations outside the main complex. A valid US driver’s license with a safe driving record is required. Occasional travel to other states may be necessary.
**Please note, this role has a travel requirement that could be up to 50% overnight travel**
- Training: Ongoing education and training are required to maintain the highest level of creativity and ingenuity.
- Safety: Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as needed in certain areas, such as the garage.
Physical Demands:
- Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions and the ability to work in inclement weather/temperature extremes.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 60 pounds.

- Knowledge of Insurance Practices, Risk Management, and Collision Repairs.

US Pay Range
$123,500 - $148,200 USD
