We are seeking an exceptional Sales Manager to join True Classic and lead sales strategy and execution for key wholesale channels. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to exceed revenue targets, building and maintaining strong relationships with key retail partners, and driving innovative solutions to optimize brand visibility and sales performance. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally, represent the brand at high-impact events, and play a pivotal role in achieving the company’s growth objectives.

All of True Classic's roles are global and omni-channel, leading designated areas of accountability across all product categories, countries, and different sales & marketing channels. This means you will have the opportunity to impact our operations worldwide, ensuring a cohesive strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives and drives success across various markets and platforms. 

Area of Responsibility (AOR):

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the assigned territory or channel.
    • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to address market dynamics and brand objectives.
  2. Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, buyers, and partners to maximize brand visibility and sales opportunities.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, negotiations, and issue resolution.
  3. Team Leadership & Development
    • Recruit, train, and manage a sales team (if applicable), ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
    • Provide coaching and performance feedback to enhance team effectiveness and individual growth.
  4. Market Analysis & Trend Insights
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Collaborate with the product and design teams to provide feedback on product performance and market demands.
  5. Operational Excellence
    • Oversee order processing, inventory management, and shipping coordination to ensure timely delivery.
    • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports for senior management.
    • Support the management of a field team providing key findings and reporting to retailers and leadership.
  6. Brand Representation
    • Represent the brand at trade shows, pop-up events, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence.
    • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines in all sales and marketing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales within the fashion or retail industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  • Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools is a plus.
  • Experience working with big box retailers is required.
  • Passion for fashion and understanding of current industry trends.

Work Environment: 

This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home or any location with reliable internet access within the United States. You will spend extended periods at a computer, so a comfortable and ergonomic workspace is essential. We provide the necessary tools and support to ensure a productive and collaborative virtual work experience. Additionally, the company holds quarterly all-hands meetings in California, which you would be expected to travel to and attend in person.

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • $120K - $160K base with competitive bonus
