About the job
This position is needed to help the Cash Application Team better serve both our internal and external customers in the APAC Region.
Our accounts receivable team is responsible for processing all cash received from our customers and reconciling the same across multiple accounts, currencies and systems in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Your key deliverable will be to ensure all customers cash receipts are accurately applied within the billing system and ERP on a daily basis.
- Ensure Customer queries are replied to within the required SLA.
- Focus on day-to-day duties related to cash application, merchant accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Interact extensively across all functional teams within Twilio and assist as queries arise.
- Update processed and procedures as required for your tasks

Required:
- 2 years’ experience in a high-volume Cash Application team.
- Experience of an ERP System and knowledge of Salesforce.
- Daily processing of cash receipts and postings to customer accounts, including payments made by credit card, lockbox and branch deposits, other adjustments to customer accounts for credits/debits and account write-offs.
- Interface with the Credit and Collections function Account Managers and Sales / CSM Managers to troubleshoot and resolve customer payment discrepancies. Contact customers via phone and email for payment details & refunds for overpayments.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Documents.
- Good communication skills
- Experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Japanese language is mandatory (read, write, speak) as the candidate will cover the Japan region.
- Business proficiency in English is required for internal communications.
Desired:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Oracle Fusion
Location
This role will be remotely located in Singapore.
