Opportunity 

Join an innovative team at the intersection of healthcare and advanced technology. As a Lead Platform Engineer in the Productivity & Cloud team, you will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, enabling seamless developer productivity and operational efficiency.

As part of our Infrastructure group, you’ll be at the heart of engineering operations, collaborating closely with talented engineers to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. You will work cross-functionally with data, AI, and product teams, acting as both the glue and accelerator for our data-driven AI products, helping us scale our growing business.

You’ll work alongside passionate software engineers, architects, and AI experts committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and engineering excellence. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI-driven healthcare solutions while solving complex cloud, automation, and developer experience challenges in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Responsibilities 

  • Enhance and evolve the developer experience by improving processes, productivity, security, and quality across the entire development lifecycle.
  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve the CI/CD pipeline to streamline software delivery.
  • Build and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for Kubernetes and AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Maintain and address support requests related to the application platform and cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Identify, analyze, and proactively resolve bottlenecks in engineering productivity, collaborating with teams to understand their challenges and optimize workflows.
  • Develop and provide self-service tools and automation scripts to empower engineers to work independently and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Security team to enforce best practices in application security and infrastructure security.
  • Lead and mentor engineers within the Productivity & Cloud team, fostering growth and collaboration.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and software development.
  • Proficiency in Linux operations and Shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for automation and system management.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD build systems (e.g., Docker, AWS EKS, Bitbucket Pipelines, Git, or similar tools).
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM for cloud infrastructure management.
  • Experience with cloud networking and traffic management, including load balancing (e.g., ALB, NLB), VPC networking, and DNS (e.g., Route 53).
  • Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) development.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., Redis, DynamoDB).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and collaboration across teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Python and experience in software development for automation, tooling, or scripting tasks.
  • Experience with developer experience tooling, including observability, monitoring, and debugging solutions (e.g., JIRA, Sumo Logic, OpsGenie).
  • Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments

Compensation and Benefits  

The compensation range for this position is $190,000-$200,000 annually.
