Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Partner Integrations, Billing Platform team, where you’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing our billing system, and be able to make enhancements to the billing platform — critical to our billing operation, partner and customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare and advanced technology, collaborating with our Partner Integrations Onboarding team, and AI engineers, as well as product, managers, billing operations, accounting and finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices using Spring Boot, API, SQL Databases,
- Build Data pipelines to support data integration and transformation processes with tools including DBT, Workato, Rivery, and Snowflake
- Build scalable and efficient systems capable of handling large datasets and complex processing.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the data integration process
- Ensure high performance and reliability through scalable architecture and best practices.
- Integrate with third-party systems to expand capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data pipelines and integration
- Develop and implement data validation and monitoring strategies to ensure ongoing data integrity
- Collaborate with onshore team to understand data requirements and provide technical guidance to align with Twin’s standard operating procedures
- Involve in scheduled operations to help audits, support the onshore team.
- Work closely with internal onshore teams to deliver sustainable data integrations
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration specifications, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration processes and methodologies
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, developing high-scale solutions/platforms.
- Strong experience with SQL & NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Rules Engines, Billing Systems, Complex Event Processing, or large-scale analytics systems.
- Experience with healthcare informatics and understanding of health plan operations.
- Familiarity with healthcare claims billing and data interoperability standards like EDI X12, HL7v2/3, and FHIR will be plus.
- This remote opportunity is available to US based persons. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $140,000-$150,000 annually.
