Twist IBT Summer Fellowship Program
At Twist Bioscience, we serve customers who are improving the world in fields such as medicine, agriculture, industrial chemicals, and data storage. Using our synthetic DNA tools, our customers are developing ways to better their lives and improve the planet's sustainability.
The Twist IBT Summer Fellowship is a quarter-long summer internship intended for upper-division students from top-tier undergraduate colleges and universities who want to work in a dynamic biotechnology environment for the summer after their sophomore or junior or senior year. The program provides practical experience and insight into how innovative academic and industrial research is translated into a great commercial product.
Summer Fellows will work on a focused technical project that they can call their own, ranging from possible topics like synthetic biology information technology to optimization algorithms and statistical learning (AI) software to stepwise biotechnology manufacturing execution systems. The projects you work on will be fun and interesting and will give you substantial exposure to the world of biotechnology.
As an intern, you will be entrusted with tasks that require specific skills and are crucial to the project. These tasks are not just for learning; they are important as they will aid in completing the project.
