Pricing Analyst II
About the Role
The Pricing Analyst II is responsible for customer spot pricing strategies and negotiations while utilizing proactive analysis to maximize shipment profit margins and exceed customer expectations.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Provide spot pricing support to operations team, sales and management
- Assist in providing solutions for misroutes, diversions, and alternate routings when service issues occur
- Create and maintain pricing templates
- Maximize profit through negotiations, strategic routing, and equipment
- Make sound decisions that consider cost/benefit and show innovation in reducing expenses
- Review customer rates and profit margin on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Provide spot quotations in a timely manner to customers and internal parties
- Optimize routing and transit time needs per customer requirements.
- Support Sales through pricing effectively and efficiently
- Streamline client pricing operations by leveraging automation systems and advanced digital tools.
Basic Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 + years of related experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or a related industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Google Suite
- 3PL / 4PL experience

Illinois: The target base salary for this role is between $56,000- $66,000
