Principal Strategic Customer Success Partner (Commercial)
About the Role
The Principal Strategic Customer Success Partner is responsible for actively managing & expanding a book of assigned accounts within the Transportation Management division. This includes visiting with clients on a regular basis (as needed), owning & setting account strategy, and partnering with operations personnel to meet strategic and tactical continuous improvement initiatives. This person is responsible for project management, account growth & expansion, and the utilization of the client engagement playbook to design & execute an account plan.
You will work very closely with a major Manufacturing-based enterprise TM customer (with the potential for additional enterprise TM customers to be added to scope). You will integrate heavily into the customer's network to drive key contractual commitments and ensure the measurable value Uber Freight provides is highlighted. This role offers strong leadership support, exposure to a diverse group of internal/external stakeholders, and the opportunity to travel to customer sites for deep-dive supply chain insights and savings ideation.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Own customer strategy, project manage all open savings initiatives/action items, and drive execution across assigned enterprise accounts.
- Partner with Operations, Analytics, Commercial, and cross-functional teams (including Brokerage sales/ops, engineering, and analyst resources) to deliver measurable business value.
- Lead customer business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) and executive-level presentations.
- Execute complex network analysis to derive savings opportunities, analyze performance data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Drive project prioritization across internal and external teams to ensure we are on target to meet annual savings goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders from the C-suite to frontline associates, ensuring alignment between customer objectives and Uber Freight capabilities.
- Support contract renewals and commercial discussions as needed.
Travel

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
- Experience managing customer relationships in a client-facing role.
- Experience leading meetings with customers and presenting business insights or performance data.
- Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to execute complex analysis, analyze data, and use insights to support decision-making.
- Proficiency or familiarity with SQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Tableau, Salesforce, Google Business Suite, and TMS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Tableau, Salesforce, Google Workspace, and TMS.
- An "AI-adjacent" mindset with a focus on modernizing and optimizing workflows.
- Demonstrated success in project management, savings ideation, and quarterbacking deliverables between multiple internal & external stakeholders to meet strict contractual commitments.
