Manager, Professional Services (GovCon)

We’re looking for a Manager, Professional Services to lead a high-performing team of functional and technical consultants within our GovCon ERP Center of Excellence. You will be responsible for driving high-quality customer implementations, developing the talent on your team, and driving performance across key services performance metrics such as utilization, realization, revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction.   

This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success and Operations to ensure predictable delivery, strong customer outcomes, and a scalable services organization.   

What You’ll Do  

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of functional and technical consultants responsible for ERP implementations, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on customer outcomes, delivery excellence, and continuous learning  
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality implementations that drive customer adoption and measurable business outcomes 
  • Serve as an escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders, helping resolve delivery challenges and maintaining strong customer relationships  
  • Drive team performance against key Professional Services metrics (e.g., utilization, realization, backlog, revenue, margins, CSAT) 
  • Monitor delivery performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce implementation timelines, and improve overall customer experience 
  • Oversee scoping, estimating, and staffing for implementations, ensuring the right resources are assigned to projects and that delivery commitments align with team capacity and business goals  
  • Support both fixed-fee and time-and-materials (T&M) engagements while maintaining predictable delivery and strong financial performance 
  • Continuously improve service delivery processes to reduce time-to-value (TTV), improve customer satisfaction, and increase implementation efficiency  
  • Identify opportunities to leverage industry trends, emerging technologies, and AI capabilities to improve consulting productivity and delivery outcomes 
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Operations to ensure seamless transitions from sales to delivery and ultimately long-term customer adoption and success  

Your First 90 Days  

In your first 30 days, you’ll focus on learning our business, building relationships, and understanding how our implementation teams operate. You’ll meet key stakeholders across Professional Services, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Operations while getting to know your team and current projects. You’ll familiarize yourself with our delivery processes, engagement models, and key services performance metrics.  

By day 60, you’ll begin actively managing team performance and supporting ongoing implementations. You’ll start identifying opportunities to improve delivery processes, team utilization, and implementation quality. You’ll also work with leadership to ensure projects are appropriately staffed and that engagements are aligned with operational and financial goals.  

By day 90, you’ll be fully integrated into the leadership team and driving measurable improvements in delivery performance. You’ll be coaching your team toward stronger outcomes, helping refine processes that improve implementation efficiency and customer satisfaction, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of our Professional Services organization.  

Who You Are  

  • 5+ years of consulting experience within B2B software 
  • 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring consulting or delivery teams 
  • Strong understanding of Professional Services metrics such as utilization, realization, margin, backlog, and customer satisfaction (CSAT)
  • Experience managing complex software implementation projects  
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence, sometimes without direct authority  
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills  
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)  

 Your Differentiators  

  • Experience with ERP implementations, particularly in government contracting or other project-based businesses  
  • Background in Finance & Accounting systems, CRM, Asset Management, Inventory, or Manufacturing 
  • Experience with resource planning and capacity management  
  • Experience delivering services through both fixed-fee and T&M engagement models
  • Experience helping scale services delivery in a growing SaaS organization

The salary range for this opportunity is $120,000 - $135,000 per year. You will be eligible for employee equity as well as discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
