If you’re passionate about helping healthcare organizations solve complex business challenges and thrive in a high-impact environment, you’ll fit right in.

The Role

As a Senior BDR, you’ll play a critical role in driving top-of-funnel growth for Unlock Health Consulting. This isn’t just about cold outreach or booking meetings. It’s about bringing strategic insight to every interaction, uncovering the real challenges behind payor complexity, and qualifying high-impact opportunities where Unlock Health Consulting’s expertise in analytics, negotiations, strategy, and implementation can drive measurable outcomes.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Consulting leadership to shape our go-to-market approach, personalize engagement with healthcare decision-makers, and help scale our consulting business.

What You’ll Do

  • Own outreach strategy and execution for your territory or vertical using a multi-channel approach (email, phone, LinkedIn, video, events, etc.)
  • Craft thoughtful, personalized messaging that speaks to healthcare leaders’ challenges related to managed care, contracting, reimbursement, and financial performance
  • Educate prospects on Unlock Health Consulting’s capabilities, including analytics, contract modeling, negotiations, strategic communications, and implementation support
  • Book qualified meetings and contribute to early-stage discovery alongside Sales and Consulting teams
  • Partner with marketing on outbound campaigns, content strategy, and lead nurturing efforts
  • Track outreach performance, pipeline activity, and lead quality to continuously improve conversion rates
  • Share market feedback, provider pain points, and competitive insights with the broader GTM team
  • Maintain engagement with warmed prospects until they are ready for deeper involvement with consultants and subject matter experts
  • Potential to mentor junior BDR/SDRs and contribute to process improvements and best practices as the team grows

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, SDR/BDR, healthcare outreach, partnerships, or pipeline-generation roles
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding pipeline and meeting targets
Strong business acumen where you can quickly understand provider challenges and connect them to our consulting solutions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging senior healthcare stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset; you test, learn, and iterate
  • Strong organization and self-direction and the ability to manage multiple outreach motions and follow-up cycles effectively
  • Comfortable with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator

Bonus

  • Experience working with or selling into hospitals, health systems, or healthcare organizations
  • Familiarity with managed care, contracting, revenue cycle, provider/payor dynamics, or healthcare consulting
  • Experience engaging finance, contracting, operations, or strategy leaders within provider organizations
  • Exposure to consulting, analytics, or implementation-based services

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
