Senior Product Manager (all genders)

Amsterdam, Berlin

The opportunity

We are looking for a goal-oriented, delivery rockstar and self-motivated Senior Product Manager to join our Member Hive in Berlin or Amsterdam. As a Senior Product Manager, you will join a dynamic team of designers, engineers, and other product managers who share a passion for using technology to provide the best experience possible to our members.

The Member Hive comprises stream-aligned product development teams to deliver our Member experience. As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll be in charge of further evolving our member experience using our apps and websites. Urban Sports Club member experience includes search & discovery, engagement and retention, offer profiles, and booking & check-in experience, among many other innovation areas like personalization, AI applications across the experience, social & community, and gamification.

You will foster a strong member experience for all our markets and brands, focussing on our consumer members and employees of our corporate customers. Join our team and help us inspire people to lead active and healthy lives!

Your responsibilities

  • You are one of two points of contact for topics relating to your domains under our Member Experience alongside engineering.
  • You will execute our product strategy to evolve Urban Sports Club's multi-brand platform product.
  • Drive excellent and on-time delivery of discovery, initiatives and product features.
  • Take ownership of KPIs, discover the best way of achieving our goals, and together with your stakeholders drive your team to execute successfully against OKRs, short-term gains, and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Be a decision-maker. Possess complex decision-making skills rooted in analytics, user feedback, and business goals. Set clear goals and priorities, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to identify roadblocks and product gaps and mitigate delivery risks due to a lack of resources or scope creep. Be proactive in communicating updates on timelines and deliverables, helping to mitigate potential issues before they arise.
  • Culture builder in your team(s). You, with your engineering and design leadership of the team, are responsible for building and fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence.

What you need to succeed

  • You have at least 3 years of experience working as a Senior Product Manager on consumer-facing mobile-first products.
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, preferably in a two-sided platform, working with multiple stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining good, effective, and friendly relationships with all of them.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to use data and customer insights to inform decisions and inspire new thinking.
  • Solid technical understanding of mobile, web, backend, and cloud technologies and the ability to translate requirements from engineering and the larger business context into roadmaps, business cases, and initiatives.
  • A fun attitude to leading cross-functional teams. You engage, inspire, and motivate the people you work with and drive daily change.

Our offer to you

  • Free Urban Sports Club L Pro Membership + Friends and Family Discount: Stay active with free membership, plus discounts for friends and family.
  • Flexible Work Model: Enjoy a hybrid work setup, balancing on-site and remote work options to fit your lifestyle.
  • Extended Remote Work Options: Work up to 120 days remotely within the EU, the UK, and Switzerland, including 30 days outside the EU. You’ll also have the option to desk-swap at our other European offices.
  • WorkOUT Life Balance: Take advantage of 30 days of paid vacation annually, plus two additional days for volunteering, flexible working hours, and complimentary access to our mental health provider Open Up.
  • Personal Development: Receive an annual budget of €1,000 for professional growth, with regular internal training sessions and weekly German and English language classes.
  • Engaging Team Culture: Participate in regular team and company events along with wellness initiatives that help you stay productive, healthy, and engaged in a hybrid work environment.
