Overview
The Business Analyst supports and optimizes US Conec’s Manufacturing Tracking System (MTS) and its integration with accounting, financial, and ERP systems. This role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and IT to improve system performance, strengthen data integrity, and ensure processes align with financial controls and business objectives.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary business analyst for the Manufacturing Tracking System (MTS), including system workflows, data structures, and integrations
• Analyze end-to-end manufacturing, accounting, and financial processes to identify system improvements and efficiencies
• Document application data flows, system logic, and cross-functional dependencies
• Translate accounting and business requirements into clear, actionable system specifications
• Develop and maintain process maps, functional documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Support accounting workflows including general ledger activity, inventory reconciliation, reporting, and data exchanges
• Assist with month-end and year-end system analysis and troubleshooting
• Partner with Accounting and Finance to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards
• Provide audit support through documentation, data analysis, and system insights
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, including developers and IT support
• Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and data migration initiatives
• Develop and execute test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Prioritize system improvements based on business impact, risk, and operational needs
• Create user guides and deliver training to support system adoption and effective utilization
• Communicate system updates, process improvements, and best practices across departments
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting internal applications
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience supporting manufacturing or inventory-based systems
• Proven ability to document complex systems, workflows, and business processes
• Working knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with database concepts, including tables, relationships, and data flows
• Experience supporting internal controls, audits, or SOX compliance initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Haves
• Experience working with ERP system integrations
• Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, or data analysis platforms
• Experience supporting custom or internally developed applications
• Background in system enhancements, upgrades, or change management initiatives
• Continuous improvement or process optimization experience
