Role Overview
Are you interested in learning how strategic customer relationships are built and managed inside a high‑tech organization? As a Key Accounts Intern, you’ll work directly alongside our senior account leadership to gain hands-on experience supporting major customers, analyzing markets, and helping drive business growth. Your work will directly support our top strategic accounts—and you’ll see how customer-facing decisions are made in real time.
What You’ll Do
- Support account managers by executing meeting action items and following up on deliverables
• Conduct competitive research to identify industry trends, product comparisons, and potential threats
• Analyze market opportunities and customer dynamics to help inform strategic decisions
• Assist with CRM updates, sales pipeline tracking, and account activity reporting
• Compile research and data into clear presentations for internal and customer meetings
• Participate in daily working sessions with account leadership to support ongoing sales and customer initiatives
Projects You May Work On
- Conducting a competitive landscape review to shape positioning or pricing strategy
• Developing a market opportunity analysis for new products or customer segments
• Supporting account plans for three key customers, including metrics, risks, and growth paths
• Preparing materials for customer meetings and helping coordinate follow‑up actions
Skills You’ll Develop
- Key account management fundamentals

• Sales analytics and reporting
• Professional communication and business presentation skills
Who We’re Looking For
- Students pursuing undergraduate majors in STEM, Business, or related fields (Service Academy majors welcome)
• MBA students are strongly encouraged to apply
• Strong character, consistent work habits, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Confident communicators comfortable presenting—even in challenging or high‑visibility settings
• Outgoing, proactive, and eager to engage with customers and team members
• Willing to travel (approx. 50% local; some air travel required—Real ID needed)
• Comfortable working side‑by‑side with senior account leadership in a collaborative, fast‑paced setting
• Interested in developing into a future Junior Account Manager role
