This is a permanent, full time and hybrid role, working from home and our South Melbourne office.

The role: 

As an experienced Manager, SaaS Operations Support you will lead our Application Support and DevOps teams in ensuring the optimal performance of our SaaS products. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining our technology stack, and ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and a proven track record in team leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. As a customer focused Manager, SaaS Operations Support at Verra Mobility you will work on: 

  • Lead and mentor the Application Support and DevOps teams, conducting performance reviews and fostering skill development.
  • Oversee SaaS operations, ensuring smooth daily support, product upgrades, and SLA compliance.
  • Act as the main contact for escalated issues, ensuring timely and effective customer support.
  • Implement process improvements using industry best practices like ITIL and DevOps methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new products and provide feedback for enhancements.
  • Manage technology stack maintenance, vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate is a solution-oriented leader with a strong background in SaaS product support and cloud technologies, particularly AWS. They have over five years of experience managing teams, leading by example, and mentoring their Application Support and DevOps teams to achieve high performance. This individual is skilled in problem-solving, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and maintain smooth operations. They are highly organised, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement, always looking for ways to enhance processes and implement best practices. A detail-oriented professional, they excel in managing resources, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines. Their excellent communication skills enable them to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, and they are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. With a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, they are well-equipped to lead and succeed in a dynamic environment, meeting all necessary employment prerequisites.
