IT Project Manager II [U.S. Citizenship Required]
Type: Full-time Employee (W-2) position
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience.
Residence: Current U.S. residence and within U.S for 3 of the past 5 years.
Location: Burlington, VT. ALL being performed onsite within the US.
Trail Pass: U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

About the Role:
We’re looking for an immensely talented IT Project Manager II to join our growing team! This dynamic PM will manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for the complete life-cycle of IT projects. This includes planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation.
**Candidates must meet public trust clearance requirements
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN AND RESIDE IN THE U.S. All work must be performed in the U.S.
- Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Public Trust U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as this work is for a federal government client. Candidates will need to successfully complete a Background Investigation (BI) and credit check prior to beginning work. Nothing in applicants’ history should prevent them from obtaining a public trust security clearance.
Technical and Skills Requirements:
- 5+ years of related technical Project Management experience. Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for complete life-cycle of IT projects including the planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation of solutions designed to meet the project requirements.
- Data Integration and Visualization: Develop and maintain data visualizations using tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI to support decision-making and present complex data in an accessible format to stakeholders.
- Innovative Problem Solving & Project Management: Tackle complex challenges with creative solutions and a proactive approach to process improvement. Proven successful track record working in an agile environment. Excel in managing multiple projects with innovative, prioritized strategies.
- Dynamic Teamwork & Agile Expertise: Thrive in collaborative environments with strong communication and Agile software engineering skills.
Strongly Preferred:
- Technical Aptitude
- Government sector experience, especially with DHS
- Current holder of public trust clearance.
- Master’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or related field
- PMP and/or SCRUM certification
Role Responsibilities:
- Technical Liaison: Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions. Direct technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Collaborate with developers and broader project teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance business operations and efficiency. Utilize expertise in analyzing existing processes and proposing optimizations to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
- Dynamic Teamwork & Agile Expertise: Successfully lead Agile, large-scale IT projects to ensure client satisfaction. Manage multiple projects with innovative, prioritized strategies.
