VP, Revenue Marketing

Vimeo seeks an exceptional Vice President, Revenue Marketing to lead our marketing teams responsible for all facets of growth and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned SaaS marketing leader with a track record of driving growth for well respected, innovative SaaS brands. With deep expertise in PLG and PLG-to-sales led environments and cross-functional collaboration, you oversee Web, demand generation, marketing programs, global field marketing, events, and account-based marketing, working closely with sales to deliver measurable results.

What You'll Do:
Marketing Programs, Content and Self-Service Growth:
- Ensure that all of our campaigns are innovative, perform well, and deliver the growth results across self service (consumer), PLG, SMB and enterprise markets.
- Deliver and maintain our content marketing strategies to amplify our corporate and product thought leadership and drive results.and to drive our demand campaigns, thought leadership, and awareness results.
- Oversee the development and execution of multi-channel marketing programs, including webinars, content marketing, email marketing, online campaigns, and partner marketing.
- Drive innovation in program delivery to increase engagement and conversion rates.
Enterprise Lead Generation and Pipeline Growth:
- Develop and execute strategies that generate pipeline and revenue across SMBs, enterprises.
- Oversee events strategy, including sponsorships of conferences, hosting local field marketing events, and other in-person initiatives to generate engagement and pipeline.
- Oversee digital marketing campaigns inclusive of ABM, direct marketing, sponsorships, partner marketing, etc. to achieve lead generation goals.
- Collaborate closely with the sales organization to design and implement account-based marketing programs that align with sales goals and deliver qualified opportunities.
Interactive and Web Management:
- Oversee all web projects, ensuring a seamless and engaging digital experience, with a focus on web strategy, conversion rate optimization (CRO), user experience (UX), and efficient project management. Collaborate closely with vendors and web developers to execute initiatives that align with Vimeo’s goals and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the website as a critical touchpoint for all audiences, including consumers leveraging our self-service (PLG) offerings and enterprise prospects using our SaaS solutions.
Paid Media:
- Manage our paid media team to develop and implement a comprehensive paid media strategy encompassing a wide range of channels, including search, display, affiliate marketing, remarketing, and emerging platforms such as podcast advertising.
- Continuously optimize campaigns to achieve the highest ROI, leveraging analytics to guide decision-making and investment allocation.
- Stay at the forefront of innovation in paid media, adopting new tools and strategies to maximize performance in a competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with creative and content and product marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all paid media efforts.
SEO:
- Lead initiatives to maintain strong web traffic and performance, ensuring continuous optimization.
- Navigate the evolving landscape of SEO with a focus on AI’s impact on search to ensure Vimeo maintains its strong brand presence and performance.
Team Management and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, including field marketing, digital marketing, paid media, content, etc.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Take ownership of outcomes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and adapting to ever-changing priorities.
- Manage external vendors and agency partnerships to ensure alignment with Vimeo’s goals and standards, while effectively managing budgets to optimize resource allocation and project execution.
- Collaborate closely with the CMO, marketing team members, sales, and executive stakeholders to align growth initiatives with broader business objectives.
Performance and Impact:
- Establish metrics to evaluate the success of brand and interactive initiatives.
- Drive impactful creative solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Who You Are:
- 15+ years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 10 years in SaaS and PLG environments for leading brands.
- Proven experience driving revenue growth in both B2B and B2C contexts, with notable success in scaling self-service and enterprise sales.
- Expertise in demand generation, ABM, field marketing, and content marketing.
- Technical proficiency with the tools to make the campaigns run, including CMS, web analytics, SEO, web optimization, Salesforce CRM, Marketo, 6sense and Qualified.com
- Strong understanding of SEO, paid media, and emerging trends like AI in marketing.
- Track record of successful sales collaboration to create high-impact marketing campaigns.
- Experience with direct and channel sales models.
- Agency experience is acceptable, but only candidates with in-house SaaS expertise will be considered.
- A strategic mindset with a passion for video as a medium for innovation and storytelling is highly desirable.
- Experience working collaboratively with design, video production, web strategy, and brand development teams.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership.
- Credibility and collaboration working with sales leadership and reps.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Demonstrable portfolio of work you’re proud of.
- Ability to work in the Vimeo NYC office frequently and travel to industry conferences, customer and partner meetings, etc. as needed.
Base Salary Range:
- NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $246,000 - $337,500
- All other US cities outside above metro areas: $221,400 - $303,750
