We are seeking an innovative Creative Strategist to sit at the intersection of strategy and creative execution. This role is designed for someone who lives and breathes social, thrives on developing bold ideas that perform, and can seamlessly move between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on creative execution.
The ideal candidate is a hybrid thinker: part strategist, part creator. They can concept social-first campaigns, pitch fresh ideas to clients, produce content themselves, and provide on-set direction to optimize for performance. They know what makes content thumb-stopping, what sparks engagement, and how to translate brand goals into ideas that break through on social.
What You'll Do Here:
- Develop social-first content ideas that are innovative, impactful, and rooted in client objectives.
- Create and pitch campaign concepts, influencer program ideas, and social content strategies directly to clients, owning the room with confidence.
- Build and deliver strategic narratives that connect creative ideas to business outcomes, ensuring clients see the “why” behind the “what.”
- Bring strategy to life on-set by consulting on client shoots, ensuring creative decisions align with performance insights and platform best practices.
- Act as both strategist and content creator, capable of producing engaging, trend-led social content when needed.
- Translate cultural trends, platform updates, and performance data into actionable creative insights for clients.
- Develop compelling narratives and presentations to showcase ideas in a way that resonates with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, client services, measurement, and media teams to ensure campaigns are cohesive and effective.
- Stay ahead of cultural moments, emerging platforms, and social trends to ensure Viral Nation remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Drive innovation by proactively presenting new ideas, testing creative approaches, and inspiring teams and clients.
You'll Need To Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in a creative strategy, social content, or hybrid creative/strategy role.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and performance mechanics (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, emerging platforms).
- Proven ability to ideate and pitch bold, culturally relevant creative concepts that deliver measurable results.
- Hands-on content creation skills (short-form video, photography, editing, copywriting) a strong plus.
- Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and client communication skills.
- Strong project management abilities; able to juggle multiple clients and deliverables.
- A passion for innovation, social culture, and pushing creative boundaries.
