Location and Flexibility
This role will operate out of our office in Vancouver, BC on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
The Opportunity
As a Marketing Analyst, Data & Analytics, you’ll support the strategy, specification, execution, and visualization of marketing analytics for multi-platform digital products. In partnership with best-in-class digital marketing teams, you’ll utilize storytelling to simplify complex data and turn it into actionable and meaningful insights and strategies.
You will play an instrumental, client-facing role as you lead complex business/technical integrations, manage digital marketing campaigns, or impact our clients’ products through data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities
- Analyze integrated marketing performance by audience segment and make adjustments to optimize user dashboards, customer experience, personalization, and relevance
- You'll be a data advocate who can both articulate and demonstrate the value of data to clients and multidisciplinary project teams (e.g. engineers and designers) and can use data and reporting to guide digital campaign and product strategies
- Lead ongoing marketing service engagements with clients, including push and email campaigns, outcomes-based analytics and data reporting to demonstrate ROI
- Develop multi-channel marketing strategies to improve engagement, conversion and retention metrics, using tools like Braze, Segment, and mParticle.
- Drive ongoing client success and satisfaction by determining the scope of various engagements and communicating regularly with various stakeholders
- You’ll coach project teams and mentor the Growth team to ensure client success
- Lead discovery engagements to learn our clients’ business goals and determine their optimal marketing tech stacks
- Travel to client offices as needed (10%)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience developing and executing a marketing and analytics strategy for clients and/or digital products
- You’ve worked directly with external clients to understand high-level business goals and guide an analytics process
- Demonstrated understanding of relational databases and utilizing SQL to interpret data on an enterprise level
- You have constructed user-friendly dashboards and have an advanced enterprise-level knowledge of data visualization and analytics platforms like Google Data Studio, Tableau, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc
- You’ve partnered with cross-functional teams
- You’re empathetic to client needs and can help find solutions if problems arise
- Experience successfully developing and leading multi-phase projects with diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading digital, multi-channel marketing and analytics and familiarity with session data and marketing campaign metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of data-driven marketing practices: audience segmentation, personalization, retargeting, exclusions, etc.
- You can present complex ideas to clients and team members in a compelling and energetic way
Bonus Points
- Experience with open-source programming languages such as Python and/or R
- Experience evaluating a breadth of tools and platforms — Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Tableau, etc — and can guide clients in selecting the ideal tool for their needs
- Experience working with marketing teams to implement growth-specific tools or platforms like Segment, Braze, or Branch
- Mobile analytics or ecommerce experience
- Experience migrating a client from one analytics tool to another
