Withum is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that align with our business goals and objectives. The Enterprise Architect will also collaborate with developers, analysts and stakeholders to ensure the coherence and quality of our IT architecture and firm mandated regulations.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Designing and establishing a modular, state of the art digital & IT architecture that is flexible and scalable with business needs and supports business differentiating initiatives with state-of-the-art, tailored solutions
  • Working with the CIO to design the digital strategy together with the product teams and the business to guide IT investment decisions and to build the transformation roadmap
  • Proactively and holistically leading and supporting Enterprise Architects activities that strategically guide business and operating models, people, processes and technology
  • Working closely with strategy and business leaders to create alignment between business and IT
  • Clarifying strategic intentions, identifying business outcomes, exploring implications, impacts and risks, and addressing stakeholders’ questions
  • Helping strategy and business leaders understand, apply, monetize and operationalize existing, new, and emerging technologies to transform and optimize business and operating models
  • Acting as design authority by developing standards and guidelines for service delivery teams and advising on realization of transformation projects
  • Developing and maintaining the target architecture across Data, Applications, Infrastructure and Cyber Security to realize digital strategy, optimize the IT landscape and manage technical debt
  • Setting up and maintaining a central EA repository to document current and future architecture and provide reporting towards senior leadership
  • Evaluating and recommending emerging technologies, tools and methodologies that can enhance the IT capabilities and performance
  • Leading and participating in architecture review boards, governance committees and project teams
  • Educating, training, and providing guidance for best practice and standards to the engineering team

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture, design and development, preferably in a large and complex organization
  • Management experience in business transformation and optimization, strategic planning, leadership, business relationship management, and business process management
  • Experience in facilitating multi-disciplined, high-performance, and agile teams
  • Knowledge in designing and constructing enterprise wide application, data, infrastructure (Azure & AWS) and cyber security landscapes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project and product facilitation and organizational change management.
  • A certification in one or more enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, ITIL, Zachman or FEAF
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and knowledge of skills and knowledge of common Enterprise Architect and IT frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL) and Enterprise Architect artifacts and methods
  • A strong knowledge of various technologies, platforms, methodologies and best practices, such as cloud computing, microservices, agile, DevOps and SOA
  • A solid understanding of various IT domains, such as applications, data, infrastructure, security, and integration
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
  • A high level of analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • A proven track record of delivering successful IT solutions that meet the business needs and expectations

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 - $145,000 in New York City, NY and Wahington DC. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
