Job Description:

Assist Product Delivery leadership in fulfillment roles and responsibilities for key business units of WorldStrides. Ensure the highest quality experience for our students and educators within the limits of an acceptable budget and expectations. Work closely with the department leadership to proof and process operational reports to external partners. Maintain a strong relationship with fellow associates through consistent and meaningful communication. Effectively communicate WorldStrides’ student and educator service philosophy and goals to WorldStrides personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and maintain relationships with existing vendors for designated regions across domestic areas of operation.
  • Proof and process operational reports
  • Maintain proper reporting for assigned areas.
  • Work with department leadership to forecast and adjust procurement efforts.
  • Participate in pre-season training sessions with new and existing vendors as needed throughout the tour year.
  • Maintain a system for quality control including providing feedback to vendors based on internal performance metrics.
  • Assist with managing deadlines for contracts, and communicate with both internal teams and external vendors changes in an effective and timely manner to avoid financial liability.
  • Facilitate strong relationships with supplier contacts through positive and professional communications.
  • Assist internal teams as needed to resolve on tour issues.
  • Provide guidance and timely communication to internal teams for given domestic tour requests by striving to ensure positive traveler experience within specified operations parameters.
  • Function as a contributing member of the Product Delivery Team through effective communication and assisting others as needed.
  • Develop initiatives and adjustments in operating procedures to account for changes in market trends, company goals, and budget parameters.
  • Audit internal operating systems for accuracy on a continual basis.
  • Communicate directly with Finance Team members regarding payments and auditing of invoices as required.
  • Travel as required to maintain positive relationships with existing vendors and familiarization of WorldStrides products.
  • Maintain flexibility and willingness to take on additional duties as products and or process needs change.

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized.
  • Travel industry experience.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Team player.
  • Hotel or tour travel experience (preferred)
