This role will be central to improving reporting quality, enhancing processes and supporting the ongoing transformation of our Group Finance function.

- Preparing monthly management accounts for assigned HQ or global cost centres, including detailed variance analysis and commentary.
- Supporting the global consolidation process, including data validation, reconciliations and uploads to consolidation systems (e.g., BFC or similar).
- Collaborating with UK stakeholders to support Group-level budgets, reforecasts and long-range planning.
- Preparing HQ-related accruals, prepayments, journals and other adjustments required for month-end close.
- Ensuring timely completion and review of balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving open items.
- Supporting intercompany accounting, including recharges, confirmations and monthly reconciliations between global entities.
- Working with colleagues in India and gloabally on SOX-related controls, enhancing documentation and ensuring compliance with Group standards.
- Partnering with global shared service centres where relevant to ensure completeness, accuracy and alignment across accounting processes.
- Assisting with audit support (internal and external) by preparing schedules and responding to auditor queries.
- Driving continuous improvement in global processes, workflows and reporting quality.
- Providing leadership and guidance to junior team members in India; helping to build a high-performing support function.
What you'll need:
- CA/ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- 6–10 years of experience in corporate accounting, management reporting or financial control, ideally within a global organisation.
- Strong foundational knowledge of month-end close, consolidation principles and balance sheet control.
- Experience working with international stakeholders, ideally within a matrix structure.
- Excellent communication skills, especially when working with UK/European counterparts across time zones.
- A process-oriented mindset with the ability to analyse, simplify and improve finance workflows.
- An ability to work autonomously while proactively raising issues or risks to UK-based management when required.
- Comfort working with ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle) and consolidation tools (e.g., BFC, HFM, OneStream).
