The role works closely with the CEO Office and wider WPP leadership team, ensuring the CPO’s time, priorities and interactions are well managed and aligned. Working in close partnership with the Chief of Staff, supporting the execution of the People leadership agenda and ensuring priorities are well coordinated day-to-day.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and their Executive Assistants, including agency CEOs and WPP executive leaders (CFO, COO, CMO), and quickly become a trusted partner— acting as an extension of the office and supporting the delivery of priorities through strong coordination, communication and follow-up, in a fast-moving, global business.

The right person will be a credible and highly capable operator, able to work with pace, judgement and independence. You’ll be comfortable navigating complexity, managing competing demands, and operating with a high level of confidentiality.

This is a fast-paced environment, so we’re looking for someone who is organised, technology savvy and curious to learn AI tools such as Co-Pilot.  You will be highly responsive and comfortable thinking on your feet, with the ability to adapt quickly as priorities shift. You’ll bring structure, clarity and pace to a high-volume, complex environment—ensuring the CPO can operate effectively and focus on the highest priorities

What you'll be doing:

  • Partnering closely with the Global CPO to manage a complex and fast-changing diary across multiple time zones, ensuring time is aligned to key priorities
  • Managing inbox and communications, driving clear prioritisation, responsiveness and follow-up across a high volume of requests
  • Acting as a key coordination point for the CPO Office across the People function, CEO Office and wider leadership team
  • Building strong relationships across the EA network
  • Supporting preparation for meetings, ensuring materials are clear, structured and aligned to a highly visual working style
  • Coordinating senior forums and leadership meetings, ensuring meetings and forums are well prepared, coordinated and followed up effectively
  • Handling highly confidential information with discretion and sound judgement
  • Supporting the organisation of key leadership events, offsites and internal engagement initiatives
  • Working closely with the Chief of Staff and senior People leadership team to ensure alignment across priorities and workstreams

What you'll need:

  • Experience supporting C-suite or equivalent leaders within a large, global organisation
  • A credible, professional approach, with confidence operating at senior levels and representing the office effectively
  • Strong digital and AI awareness (e.g. tools such as Copilot), supporting a senior leader who relies on clear, well-structured outputs
  • The ability to think ahead, anticipate needs and make sound decisions in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
  • Experience working within a corporate or CEO Office / ExCo environment is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise at pace
  • Discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive information
  • A proactive, adaptable approach, with the ability to manage competing demands
  • A collaborative mindset, working effectively within a wider EA network
