About the Role:

The Digital Asset Manager at Zenni Optical will play a critical role in overseeing the end-to-end management of digital assets for our extensive catalog, spanning multiple vendors, teams, and campaigns. This position will guarantee the timely and accurate delivery, organization, and tracking of all digital assets as they go live, ensuring seamless access and consistent quality across all channels.

  • You will serve as the central point of contact for all digital asset-related activities.
  • You will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining an efficient digital asset management system, ensuring that assets are correctly tagged, categorized, and stored. Moreover, you will work closely with vendors, marketing teams, creative departments, and campaign managers to ensure that assets meet required standards and deadlines.
  • Key to this role is your ability to establish streamlined workflows for asset distribution and retrieval, your vigilance in maintaining the integrity and security of our digital content, and your proactive approach in troubleshooting issues and optimizing processes.
  • Your efforts will help elevate our brand presence, drive campaign success, and support cross-functional teams in achieving their goals.
  • You will also provide training and support to internal and external stakeholders, conduct regular audits, and develop best practices to continually improve our digital asset management capabilities. By leveraging your expertise and attention to detail, you will contribute to the efficient and effective use of digital assets, enhancing the overall performance and impact of our campaigns and projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital asset management (DAM) strategies and policies
  • Maintain and organize digital content, including images, videos, and other multimedia assets
  • Ensure proper tagging, metadata application, and categorization of all digital assets
  • Collaborate with various departments (marketing, creative, IT, etc.) to understand their digital asset needs and ensure deliverables are to specifications
  • Oversee the integration of DAM solutions with other software and tools used by the company
  • Train and support users in best practices for digital asset management
  • Monitor and enforce usage rights and access controls for digital assets
  • Conduct regular audits of the DAM system to ensure content accuracy and remove outdated or irrelevant materials
  • Provide regular reports and insights on the usage and performance of digital assets
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in digital asset management technologies

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital asset management or a similar role
  • Proficiency with DAM systems and tools (e.g., Widen, Bynder, MediaValet, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of metadata standards, tagging, and taxonomy creation
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the eyewear industry or general E-commerce org is a plus!
  • Certification in Digital Asset Management
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) or 3D software (Blender, Maya, etc) and content management systems (CMS)

Compensation

In addition to other forms of compensation like perks and benefits, the estimated range for this role is $108,000 - $135,000/year. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skill set, experience, geographical location, market conditions, and other organizational needs. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for various reasons including business needs.
