Senior Director, Product Marketing

WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

As the Senior Director, Product Marketing, you will play a critical role in shaping the go-to-market strategy for our SaaS products. You will lead a team of product marketers, work closely with cross-functional teams, and be the voice of the customer. Your focus will be on understanding market needs, developing strategic ideas for our product suites, defining product positioning, and driving demand generation. This role requires a strong product marketing background, a passion for innovation, and a strong knowledge of technology. Some understanding of the SaaS technology space, financial services, or the life and annuities industry is a plus.

 Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing product marketing team.
  • Collaborate with the product, sales, customer success and brand teams to ensure alignment on product positioning and messaging.

Market Analysis & Positioning:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences.
  • Develop buyer personas and customer journey maps to guide marketing strategies.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Create and manage go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates.
  • Lead the development of sales enablement materials, including product collateral, case studies, white papers, and presentations.
  • Drive demand generation campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team to ensure product adoption and customer acquisition.

 Customer & Sales Support:

  • Work closely with the product and sales team to provide training, tools, and support needed to sell SaaS products effectively.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Act as a product evangelist at industry events, webinars, and conferences.

Performance & Analytics:

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage the product marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the tech or SaaS industry
  • Proven experience in tech or SaaS product marketing, or a strong understanding of financial services products and services.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling SaaS or tech products.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in the firm.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.

BONUS POINTS:

  • Familiarity with the InsurTech, financial services, or life and annuities industry is a plus.

The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations. The salary range for this position is $200,000-$225,000. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual’s skills, education, experience, training, and geographic location. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts.
