WHO YOU ARE:
As a SRE Engineer at Zinnia, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support our applications and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform is scalable, reliable, and efficient. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the automation and optimization of our infrastructure.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Participate in the design and development of enterprise platform solutions that aims at providing consistent and secure methods for developers to develop, build, deploy and run their applications.
• Support developers from other teams by providing DevSecOps best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure platform stability and security.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and Spacelift.
• Ensure proper documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for production systems.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the platform
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
• 5+ years of SRE experience, DevOps Engineer, platform engineering or similar role.
• Experience in developing and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform. Experience with Spacelift is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Bash, Javascript/Typescript, Java, C# or Go.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevSecOps tasks (Environment provisioning, CI/CD Pipelines, implementing security tools for DAST and SAST monitoring).
• Excellent work ethic. Ability to work and travel independently. Effective strategic thinking skills.
• Expert level communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Expert level troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Extensive experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies when it comes to infrastructure as code.
