
Senior Manager, Learning and Development

Our Senior Manager, Learning and Development role might be the right fit for you! This role will support training for our teams in India. Reporting into the Director, Learning and Development this person will oversee a team of Learning Partners based in India. The right person will enable and empower us in creating a living network of inclusivity, growth, and learning for all employees.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Partner with US L&D leader and team members to ensure learning content is globally aligned while addressing local needs.
- Oversee curriculum development that proactively address business needs regarding product, process & soft skills training
- Act as a trusted partner to the business, collaborating with global teams to align with overarching strategy while conducting ongoing talent needs assessments that result in strong, locally relevant solution roadmaps. You will balance innovation with leveraging existing best practices.
- Foster a climate of inclusion where every team member has a voice; ensuring empowerment and development of your team.
- Utilize quantitative and anecdotal data to make recommendations that drive culture, engagement and org performance.
- Develop and use actionable metrics that deliver on key talent initiatives
- Improve processes around prioritizing and developing training initiatives from various stakeholders
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- You have 5+ years experience in a learning and development or instructional design with strong knowledge of training approaches, learning technology, and content creation.
- You’ve led Learning & Development teams for 3+ years
- You're a stellar verbal and written communicator who has exceptional interpersonal skills and can clearly present ideas to diverse audiences
- You have a sense of urgency and high level of proven productivity in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- You’re known as someone who establishes priorities with clear responsibilities and consistently delivers on established goals and objectives
- You love utilizing data to generate ideas and measure individual and department-specific progress
- You pride yourself on being a trusted advisor to the business and demonstrate high degrees of partnership across levels of the company
BONUS POINTS:
- You have experience in the insurance or insure-tech industries
- You’ve supported L&D teams that are somewhat dependent on external stakeholders for timelines/deployments that drive L&D priorities
- You have ATD or similar certifications
- You have experience with Articulate suite of products
