Counter UAS Program Manager (Germany)

We are seeking an experienced Counter-UAS Program Manager to lead customer engagement and integration efforts for our Small Unmanned Aircraft Detection System (SUADS) into broader UAS and Counter-UAS solutions. This role is based in Germany and requires extensive travel across Europe and beyond (50-75%) to support customers, drive program success, and oversee system integration efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Success

- Serve as the primary point of contact for European customers, ensuring their operational and technical requirements are met.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with military, government, and commercial stakeholders involved in Counter-UAS operations.
- Provide hands-on support for system deployment, training, and troubleshooting to maximize customer satisfaction.

- System Integration & Deployment

- Lead the integration of SUADS into multi-layered Counter-UAS and UAS defense ecosystems, ensuring seamless interoperability.

- Work closely with engineering and product teams to refine system capabilities based on real-world feedback.

- Oversee field testing, demonstrations, and evaluations to validate system performance.
- Program & Project Management

- Manage program schedules, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely execution.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align program objectives with company goals.

- Provide regular updates to leadership on program status, risks, and opportunities.

- Communications & Network Integration

- Ensure interoperability and integration of LTE, IP-based networks, SATCOM, and RF communication systems into Counter-UAS architectures.

- Work with network engineers to establish secure, resilient communications pathways for distributed operations.

- Troubleshoot and optimize network connectivity for remote and austere environments.
- Training & Technical Support

- Develop and deliver training programs for customers and partners on system operation and integration.

- Support on-site deployments and troubleshooting for SUADS and Counter-UAS systems in operational environments.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience:

- 5+ years in Counter-UAS, UAS, electronic warfare, air defense, or related defense technologies.

- Direct experience with UAS detection, radar, RF systems, or multi-domain defense systems is highly desirable.

- Previous experience managing defense-related programs and working with military or government customers.

- Technical & Operational Skills:

- Strong understanding of UAS and Counter-UAS technologies, including radar, RF detection, and electronic warfare principles.

- Proven experience with communications networks, including LTE, IP-based systems, SATCOM, and RF integration for mission-critical applications.

- Ability to work with engineers, integrators, and operators to ensure system effectiveness.

- Experience conducting field testing, system validation, and operational support.
- Other Requirements:

- Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or higher) is required.

- U.S. Citizenship is required.

- Must be willing to relocate to Germany.

- Ability to travel frequently (50-75%), including visits to military bases, test sites, and customer locations across Europe.

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in military operations, air defense, electronic warfare, or intelligence.
- Experience working with NATO or European defense agencies.
- Multilingual proficiency (English required; German or other European languages a plus).

Pay range for this role
$110,000 - $160,000 USD
