We're looking for a strategic and adaptable Senior People Consultant to join our People & Culture (P&C) team. You will work closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and aligned executives to drive initiatives in employee recognition, engagement, retention, performance management, and leadership development. Additionally, you will have HRBP responsibilities for a Global Sales SVP and their team, fostering culture and organizational success. Reporting to the Senior HR Leader for Global Sales, you'll be based in San Jose, CA (going into the office Tuesday-Thursday) or remotely across the US and will be responsible for:
- Partnering with HRBPs and aligned executives to address employee relations issues and provide guidance and coaching on behavior and performance areas
- Monitoring organizational and operational changes to identify potential employee relations risks and developing proactive plans to address them
- Analyzing people data sets to uncover insights and recommendations that enhance organizational effectiveness, including conducting employee listening systems such as exit interviews and pulse surveys as needed
- Collaborating across the P&C team to identify opportunities for improvement and contributing to scaling and transforming P&C’s impact at Zscaler
- Managing global people projects from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth implementation by leveraging project management skills to track progress and deliver successful outcomes
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of relevant HR experience supporting employee lifecycle processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Expertise in employee relations with excellent judgment
- Outstanding analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate globally
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience managing multiple projects concurrently

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity and proactively find solutions to complex challenges
- Experience working in a global and matrixed organization
- Advanced proficiency in M365 and G-Suite applications

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
Base Pay Range
$122,500 - $175,000 USD
