Position Overview:
The (Sr.) Manager, Talent Management & Development will play a lead role in designing, implementing and being responsible for our Talent Management strategy to meet the needs of our business and nurture the careers of our employees.
This role works closely with the global HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to deliver innovative and sustainable talent solutions for the company, including: talent assessment, talent development, succession planning, performance management, career planning, engagement measurement, and related change initiatives. The ability to assess and understand business drivers and focus areas in partnership with the People Leadership team, global HRBPs and key business leaders are essential to success in this role.
What You'll Do:
Talent Strategy & Program Ownership:
- Own the development and implementation of company-wide talent programs and processes, including: talent assessment, talent development, succession planning, performance cycles, manager training, and performance management
- Partner across the Talent Management/Development function (within the label and/or enterprise) to build integrated talent programs that align with shared organizational priorities (e.g., leadership effectiveness, performance management).
HR Partnership & Consultation:
- Partner closely with the global HR Business Partner (HRBP) organization, providing ongoing expertise and leadership as a Center of Excellence (COE) for all talent initiatives and routines.
- Collaborate with the HR Tech team to define business requirements, scope, and implement system solutions that effectively support priority talent programs (e.g., annual performance review cycle).
Engagement & Communication:
- Build and execute the semi-annual Engagement Pulse Survey.
- Provide Survey support and expertise to HR and Leadership, including interpretation of results and developing action plans to better understand employee sentiment and improve the overall employee experience.
- In partnership with Internal Communications, build comprehensive communication strategies and materials related to talent programs, processes, and cycles.Foster a positive working environment which supports collaboration, accountability, equity, inclusion and an engaged and diverse workforce in alignment with our global People Ops strategy.
Other:
- Other Talent related assignments and projects as business needs require.
- Travel as business needs require, less than 10%.
What You Bring:
- 8+ years working experience in HRBP/Talent Management/Organizational Effectiveness and/or Talent Development functions or other relevant fields.
Strategic Execution & Program Management:
- Strong program management ability, across a portfolio of multiple large-scale talent programs
- Focuses on forward planning, process efficiency, and high-quality decision-making under pressure.
- Experience building and delivering programs from concept to daily use at scale
- Experience supporting and/or leading project teams
- Passion for continuous improvement and evolution
Communication & Influence:
- Focuses on clear communication, relationship management, and driving alignment within the business.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills with the ability to adjust styles/communication to audiences’ needs
Bonus Points:
- Degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, HR Management, or a related field
- Experience with Workday Talent and Performance, Culture Amp Engagement and Effectiveness

The pay range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $119,300 and $176,540 CAD per Year.
However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company’s discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
