We raise the bar, we never fail, and blaze trails through the ordinary and mundane way of normal supply chain, manufacturing and shipping paradigms, goals and ideals. As the DC Facility Technician I, you are a self-starter and troubleshooting expert that can work under pressure to get equipment back up and running.  You will oversee all maintenance and facility aspects of the distribution center including preventative and reactive maintenance of equipment, building and grounds.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 9am – 5pm
  • May include occasional start time as early as 6am (example - Quarterly PM’s)
  • On call availability Mon - Friday 5pm-8pm and Sunday’s 9am -7 pm

 

Things You’ll Do:

  • Maintenance of buildings, parking lots, and restrooms – could include janitorial services
  • Troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of any production equipment and basic facility repairs of building and front office areas as needed
  • Door maintenance (access control), light bulb maintenance, minor plumbing repairs, furniture building, installation and relocation
  • Monitoring performance of machinery and equipment
  • Preparing, maintaining and ensuring preventative maintenance programs are completed, and documentation is up to date in computerized maintenance management software
  • Planning, organizing, directing the Company’s maintenance, facilities, general services and security functions
  • Working closely with associates to ensure all equipment is maintained properly with equipment issues resolved quickly to minimize downtime and all safety procedures are followed
  • Ensure site compliance for all safety and environmental policies
  • Own and support external vendor services
  • Assist in other departments when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or similar associate degree

OR

  • Industrial maintenance experience
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to safely climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time
  • Ability to safely use ladders, other industrial equipment, PPE and LOTO to complete job functions

Skills:

  • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing motors, gearboxes, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, automation equipment and belt conveyance systems
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing A/DC electrical systems, reading schematics, using electrical testing equipment
  • Understanding of industrial motor control and Programmable Logic Controllers
  • Experience utilizing computerized maintenance management software for parts inventory, work documentation, and preventative maintenance scheduling
  • Experience repairing electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience with vendor contract negotiations
