About ABI Growth Group

Created in 2022, the Growth Group unifies our business-to-business (B2B), direct-toconsumer (DTC), Sales & Distribution, and Marketing teams. By bringing together global tech and commercial functions, the Growth Group allows us to fully leverage data and drive digital transformation and organic growth for AB InBev around the world. In addition to supporting well known global beer brands like Corona, Budweiser and Michelob Ultra, the Growth Group is home to a robust suite of digital products including our B2B digital commerce platform BEES, on-demand delivery services Ze Delivery and TaDa Delivery, and table top beer keg PerfectDraft. We are an exceptional team, focused on understanding and supporting consumer and customer needs, harnessing new technology, and scaling growth opportunities. We are looking for a Software Engineer to collaborate in the technical design of solutions (backend), solution development and guaranteeing the quality of the implementation/rollout/maintenance of new features that should go live while working in conjunction with the engineering team.

What You Will Do

 • Participate in the definition of the best practices and architecture standards, considering the company strategies and the market trends. • Stay aligned with Engineering Managers for decentralized technical decisions. • Participate in high level requirements meetings, helping product and design teams to prepare their initiatives, epics and stories we will develop. • Support the squad in making technical decisions and creating standards. • Responsible for suggesting new tools and technologies to solve the problems. • Talk and elaborate ideas and raise issues for both technical and non-technical people. • Actively contribute to the Backend Chapter and disseminate technical knowledge/ propose improvements. • Help with the career development of other professional developers. • Technical integration between squads. • Identification, prioritization, and resolution of technical debts and bugs. • Ensure a strong testing culture by writing and maintaining unit and integration tests as part of your daily routine.

What you'll need:

 • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field and full-time Software Engineering work experience. • Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving. • Be proficient in at least one programming language and its main frameworks, Knowledge in Typescript, NodeJS, NestJS and GraphQL is a plus. • Experience in Systems Architectural styles (Monolith, Plugin, SOA, Microservices, Event-driven) • Experience in Architecture concepts (Software design, hexagonal architecture, onion, clean architecture). • Experience in API and capabilities. • Experience in Cloud platforms and main providers. • Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases. • Experience in IAC Technologies. • Experience in System Modeling (desirable experience on tactical DDD) • Experience in Monitoring Tools, Metrics and Observability. • Experience in Agile Framework. • Experience in DevOps culture, automation (CI/CD) and main tools. • Knowledge in Quality (stress tests, load, TDD, BDD).
