About this opportunity

The Commercial Strategy Specialist is responsible for maximizing profitable growth across BEES Link 3P through strong governance, analytical rigor, and scalable operating standards. Aligned with our mission — to maximize profitable growth by institutionalizing pricing compliance, P&L governance, disciplined product prioritization, and scalable operating processes — this role plays a critical part in strengthening the structural foundations of our commercial model.

This position sits at the intersection of Commercial, Product, Finance, and Operations. The Commercial Strategy Specialist transforms complex business problems into data-driven insights and scalable frameworks that protect margins, improve investment allocation, and accelerate disciplined decision-making. This is a high-impact role designed for a senior professional who combines strategic thinking with hands-on analytical execution

What you will do:

  • Own P&L governance for BEES Link 3P, consolidating partner-level performance data and translating it into clear visibility on margin health, revenue quality, and profitability trends.
  • Provide broad-ranging legal advice to other teams across ABI Growth, including relating to SaaS and licensing transactions, strategic commercial relationships, data monetization strategies, data privacy projects, and product counseling.
  • Build and maintain scalable operating frameworks — standard templates, decision criteria, governance protocols — that reduce dependency on ad hoc judgment and improve process consistency.
  • Drive product prioritization rigor by developing structured intake processes, effort-impact scoring models, and backlog governance routines that align roadmap decisions with commercial outcomes.
  • Design and maintain investment evaluation frameworks that assess initiatives against a shared value logic, distinguishing between cost avoidance, governance improvement, and incremental revenue generation.
  • Develop and update reference models for take rate and GMV impact analysis, enabling leadership to make pricing and product decisions grounded in real partner data.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies across the OTC and GTM cycle, and lead initiatives to eliminate waste and improve execution speed without compromising governance standards.
  • Synthesize cross-functional inputs — from Commercial, Finance, Product, and Operations — into integrated business reviews that surface risks early and enable proactive course correction.
  • Support JBP structuring and partner onboarding processes by providing analytical and governance scaffolding that ensures new engagements are commercially sound from the outset.

We are looking for people with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a strong differentiator.
  • Experience in a business analytics, commercial operations, strategy, or financial governance role, ideally within a technology, marketplace, or CPG environment.
  • Proven ability to build and operationalize governance frameworks, pricing models, or P&L management tools in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong analytical proficiency — advanced Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or Python/R — with the ability to work directly with large datasets and translate findings into executive-level insights.
  • Demonstrated experience with take rate modeling, GMV analysis, or margin management in a platform or marketplace business is a significant plus.
  • Desire to help build the legal function and data privacy program from the ground up.
  • Effective communicator who can synthesize complex analytical work into clear business narratives for senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Practical legal approach, focused on enabling the business strategy rather than a compliance-first mindset.
  • Fully fluent in English and Portuguese; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
