Position Summary:

As an Analytics and Reporting Strategist, you will play a critical role in designing, constructing, and automating standardized reporting, both internal and external, with a focus on pharmacy-related measures. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide insights into cost, utilization, clinical outcomes, population demographics, patient engagement, and contracted risk.

What you will do:

 1. Design and Automation of Standardized Reporting:

  • Contribute to the design and construction of standardized reporting, including external reporting such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and internal reporting of performance or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Focus on pharmacy-specific measures of cost, utilization, clinical outcomes, and related metrics
  • Incorporate population demographics, patient engagement, and contracted risk into reports

2. Ad-Hoc Analyses and Reporting Requests:

  • Respond to customer-specific ad-hoc analyses and reporting requests, providing timely and accurate insights

3. Stakeholder Consultation:

  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders on report and analysis results, offering expertise and guidance

4. Business Requirements Development:

  • Draft business requirements for report content modules to be developed in BI/reporting applications, ensuring alignment with business needs

5. Experience Studies and Publication:

  • Support the development and publication of experience studies on the book of business
  • Contribute insights to support marketing and sales efforts, formulary design, and clinical program development

6. Data Architecture and Operations: 

  • Collaborate on data architecture, logistics, and operations to support the evolving technology roadmap
  • Provide input to enhance data-related processes and workflows

 What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, finance, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in healthcare reporting and analytics
  • 3+ years of experience in pharmacy or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) preferred
  • Proficient in database querying and data manipulation tools, particularly with large datasets preferably Microsoft/Azure products
  • Strong experience with business intelligence (BI) tools for report design, build, and automation preferably PowerBI
  • Proficient in programming/coding languages; SQL required, and Python preferred
  • Client-facing experience preferred with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders
  • Willingness and ability to travel (10%-20%)
