A Snapshot
We’re looking for a strategic and impact‑driven Energy Policy Manager to join AirTrunk’s Energy & Land Strategy (ELS) team. Reporting to the Associate Vice President and working closely with the Head of Government Affairs, you’ll influence energy policy across the Asia Pacific & Japan region to support AirTrunk’s rapid hyperscale growth and sustainability goals. This high‑impact role sits at the intersection of energy, technology, and public policy, shaping regulatory outcomes that enable innovative, low‑carbon solutions for digital infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement energy policy strategies aligned with AirTrunk’s commercial and sustainability objectives.
- Lead policy submissions, consultation responses, and regulatory reviews with government and industry bodies.
- Analyse market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging policy trends across APAC.
- Partner with sustainability, development, operations, and strategy teams to ensure policy positions are commercially and technically informed.
- Represent AirTrunk in external forums, working groups, and stakeholder engagements to advocate for progressive policy outcomes.
What You Bring
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in energy policy, government relations, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and decarbonisation pathways in Australia and APJ.
- Tertiary qualifications in public policy, law, economics, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong ability to prepare high‑quality policy submissions and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and comfort navigating complex issues in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
