Position: Senior Project Manager - CAB Engineering (Contract)
Role Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of technical enhancements and product offerings, ensuring that each project adheres to the "stage-gate" methodology. You will lead multiple product development teams, guiding them to successfully deliver solutions while meeting key performance indicators, including quality, timelines, budget, and vehicle specifications. In this role, you’ll leverage agile principles to integrate new vehicle technologies into the Cab Engineering product streams, addressing market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver project outcomes within the scope of Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Functionality (QDCF) targets.
Collaborate closely with line management to set clear expectations and secure annual resource and budget commitments for the projects.
Define precise deliverables and requirements for each department, ensuring alignment with the Global Development Process (GDP).
Guide Program Increment planning, applying an agile cadence approach to coordinate development teams effectively.
Identify key dependencies and promote collaboration between different functional teams and agile release trains.
What You Bring to the Role:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience in engineering project management.
Experience within an OEM setting, particularly in commercial vehicles or heavy machinery industries.
Strong familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in Structured Problem Solving techniques (e.g., 8D).
Solid understanding of SAFe Agile, SCRUM, and KANBAN frameworks.
Willingness to travel as required.
