Job Title:
Associate Technical Support Consultant - This opening is for support role in After-Hours Technical Team.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with corporate customers (IT team from large hospitals around the world) over telephone/support tickets to help troubleshoot and resolve complex Infrastructure / Product issues. The issues might range from system configuration/setup, product functionality, bugs/problem with enhancements, etc
- Evaluate the criticality, severity of issues, and ensure that they are addressed observing the priority.
- Document all technical issues, analysis, and communication with the customer and ensure clear documentation in the ServiceNow Ticketing system.
- Flexible & adaptable to work in a 24x7 rotational environment with dynamic situations.
- Stay abreast of current technology in the industry, enhancements done on products, design changes, and new products offered.
Requirement:
- B. Tech degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Good experience in System Performance monitoring/troubleshooting in application & SQL servers
- Good understanding of Microsoft SQL server and Experience in troubleshooting Always-On in SQL Server
- Troubleshoot SQL performance issues using SQL Profiler and Extended Events
- Any Healthcare Product Knowledge or Application Support knowledge
- Must have an ability to learn system functionality & workflows quickly.
- Knowledge of Window Server or any other server OS
- Knowledge of networking architecture and clustering concepts
- Good understanding of networking protocols
- Experience in analyzing Windows logs and large application log files to find the root cause.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills: the ability to analyze and interpret logs quickly and efficiently.
Good to have skills:
- Any Integration engine support experience
- Experience in working with HL7 v2 messages
- Understanding of healthcare-related application, terminology, patient care environments
- Experience with Bash, PowerShell / Python scripting.
