ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to support the Finance department in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and facilitating smooth financial processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in finance, strong coordination and administrative skills, and a track record of effectively supporting finance teams in achieving operational efficiency.
This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the accounts receivable and payable processes, preparing financial reports, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Operations Support
- Collect, verify, and organize financial data from multiple departments and sources.
- Maintain orderly and up-to-date financial records and documentation in compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the review of financial transactions for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with internal policies.
- Track outstanding documentation and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely submission.
- Any other support activities as may be requested of you.
Support to Reporting Activities
- Assist in the preparation of financial and operational reports by gathering, compiling, and formatting data.
- Support the finance team in tracking actuals vs. forecasts and expense monitoring.
- Contribute to the development of financial dashboards and performance summaries by providing accurate inputs and data validation.
- Prepare supporting schedules and reconciliations as requested by the Financial Controller.
- Support in preparation and submission of regulatory filings as would be prescribed
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a liaison between the Finance team and other departments to support the flow of financial information and documentation.
- Ensure timely collection and validation of inputs required for internal finance processes.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure compliance with finance-related deadlines and procedures.
Audit & Compliance Support
- Organize and maintain records required for internal and external audits.
- Assist in preparing audit documentation and responding to data requests.
- Support internal reviews to ensure alignment with financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor adherence to established internal controls related to financial documentation and process flow.
Banking & General Finance Support
- Support routine banking documentation and reconciliation tracking.
- Maintain logs, trackers, and finance calendars to assist in timely execution of operational activities.
- Perform other finance-related administrative tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in business or accounting
- 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting support role.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and G-Suite; experience with accounting software is a plus
- Strong data handling, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial workflows
