We seek an experienced Engineering Manager to lead one of our software development teams and drive technical excellence across our engineering organization. This leadership position will be responsible for managing high-performing development teams while contributing to architectural decisions and technology strategy, with a focus on delivering scalable solutions using modern cloud technologies and development frameworks.

Your Impact

  • Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams of 5-7 developers across multiple projects
  • Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions for scalable web applications and cloud-based solutions
  • Champion engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing standards, and deployment processes
  • Build, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams through coaching and career development
  • Collaborate with product management and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment and maintenance
  • Establish and monitor engineering KPIs, including velocity, quality metrics, and team satisfaction
  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Manage technical debt and ensure long-term maintainability of codebases
  • Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and technical excellence within the team
  • Provide regular reporting on team performance and project status to executive leadership

Your Qualifications

  • Proven years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in engineering management roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET framework and .NET Core/5+ development
  • Proven experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS services
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performance engineering teams of 5+ developers
  • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and microservices design
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code
  • Excellent technical problem-solving and system design skills
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team building, mentoring, and performance management
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern development practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of database design and optimization (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
  • Experience with API design and development (REST, GraphQL)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Application Insights, New Relic, etc.)
  • Experience scaling engineering teams in fast-growing organizations
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Experience with mobile development or full-stack development
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Previous experience in a startup or high-growth technology environment
