About the team

The Technical Operations team at Angi is dedicated to keeping our IT environment exceptional for all associates. Our team is dynamic, fast-paced, and thrives on collaboration. We are constantly pushing to improve and are looking for a motivated Desktop Support Technician to help us do just that. If you're passionate about customer service and eager to grow in systems support and administration, we’d love to have you as part of our team. This role will be based in our Denver office on a hybrid schedule.

What you’ll do

As a Desktop Support Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our employees have a seamless IT experience. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues across various hardware, software, and networking systems while collaborating with different teams to maintain a high-quality IT environment. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency and success of Angi’s workforce.

  • Provide Tier 1 & 2 support, escalating issues to higher tiers when needed.
  • Triage incoming support requests, assessing severity and impact.
  • Participate in maintenance activities on hardware, operating systems, and software applications, and, with supervision, make physical changes to PC, Mac, server, and network storage hardware.
  • Travel to various locations for support activities, team events, and site buildouts.
  • Ensure seamless connectivity for devices with file servers, email, VPN, printers, etc.
  • Participate in an On-Call rotation (6-10 weeks) for after-hours support.
  • Provide executive support, including in-person assistance and occasional travel.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair endpoint devices, maintaining compliance with information system standards.
  • Train users on hardware and software usage.
  • Collaborate with vendors for support and logistics needs.
  • Document processes and share knowledge with other team members.
  • Support conference rooms and events with A/V setup and maintenance.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring stock availability for operations.
  • Prepare IT kits for new hires and assist with onboarding logistics.
  • Track IT asset deliveries and coordinate returns from departing employees.
  • Work with logistics on inventory, invoicing, and asset lifecycle management.

Who you are

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role, with strong customer service skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting PC & Mac systems remotely and locally.
  • Basic knowledge of servers, networking hardware, and operating systems.
  • Familiar with IT Service Management systems (Freshservice, Jira, etc.).
  • Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via email, Slack, and verbal instructions.
  • Capable of following processes and suggesting improvements when necessary.
  • Able to stay calm and composed, especially when managing executive-level support or in high-pressure situations.
  • Comfortable with occasional travel between sites and limited out-of-state travel for team activities.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry it up flights of stairs if needed.
    • Capable of mounting audio/visual equipment using a ladder and hand tools.
    • Able to be on your feet for extended periods and perform tasks like bending, crouching, and kneeling while moving equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary band for this position ranges $57,000 - $65,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living. 
  • This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
