The Role:

As the Principal Product Manager, UX Foundations at Apollo.io, you will lead the UX Foundations team in creating robust, reusable, components that power Apollo as a next-generation go-to-market platform. By establishing foundational architecture and common patterns we ensure every user interaction is streamlined and efficient across a diverse range of use cases. Our mission is to set the gold standard for an intuitive and delightful user experience, making Apollo a benchmark for world class product design.

Responsibilities

  • Vision and strategy: Building and leading the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a core Apollo platform, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy of a world class user experience. 
  • Evidence based product development: Using both quantitative and qualitative analysis to make data informed product decisions that are based on unique customer or market insights. 
  • Customer obsession: Customer-obsessed mindset, prioritizing the delivery of exceptional customer experience and outcomes. 
  • Metrics Optimization: You’ll establish and track key performance indicators for our products, continuously optimizing them to ensure success. 
  • Team Collaboration: You’ll create a strong sense of shared ownership among engineers, designers, and researchers leading to the successful delivery of high-quality products. 
  • Strategic Initiatives: You’ll work closely with product and growth teams to plan and execute initiatives that improve acquisition, activation, and retention for the Apollo product as a whole.
  • Drive sustainable product success by balancing short-term priorities with long-term vision, ensuring focused and impactful execution. Maintain a sense of urgency in delivering immediate value while laying the groundwork for scalable, durable solutions that support the platform’s growth and customer satisfaction over time.

  • Exceptional design and product intuition: You have a deep understanding of what makes products intuitive, delightful, and effective, with a strong sense of aesthetic and user-centered design principles. You have impeccable taste and judgment in making decisions that resonate with target audiences and reflect an unwavering commitment to quality.
  • Systems thinker: Adept at understanding and optimizing the interplay between various components of the Apollo platform to enhance overall architecture, functionality and drive exceptional UX
  • Great simplifier: Ability to distill complex concepts into compelling and easy-to-understand narratives and user workflows
  • Proactive mindset: Anticipating organizational needs and dependencies proactively to prioritize building product that drives Apollo to a global optimum.
  • Cross functional leader: Creating a collaborative and productive culture while promoting both cross functional and technical excellence.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of SaaS or Consumer PM experience combined. 
  • Experience transforming complex user workflows into, simple delightful user experiences 
  • Experience building platforms – former partners rave about your impact 
  • Experience building or working with Design Systems, or having a Design background is a plus.
  • Growth mindset for both product and personal ambitions 
  • Comfortable and motivated by ambiguity and turning it into real world value. 
  • A joy to work with & debate with, comfortable pushing back, speaking and acting courageously. 
  • Deep empathy for users, obsessed with problems and not solutions 
  • Ability to rally multiple teams and build influence with leadership
