Position Overview

 

Arlo is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing innovative web applications and a keen interest in both front-end and back-end technologies. This role provides an excellent opportunity for growth and learning in a collaborative environment.

Clearance:

• Active US Customs and Border Protection Public Trust, Department of Homeland Security Public Trust, or Active Top Secret Clearance is preferred

Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors 

• Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Collaborate with the development team to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for web applications.
• Front-End Development: Implement user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Back-End Development: Develop server-side logic, define and maintain databases, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end using technologies such as Python (preferred) and JavaScript.
• API Integration: Work with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to integrate various services and functionalities.
• Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and functionality of applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code and development processes.

 

Education and Minimum Qualifications 

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in full-stack development or related roles.

 

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of back-end technologies particularly Python.
• Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.

 

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve existing skills.

 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
