AssetWatch is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Copy Writer with a passion for crafting compelling short-form content that drives leads. You will be a key player in developing engaging copy for our marketing campaigns across various channels, focusing on concise and impactful messaging that resonates with our target audience. What You'll Do:

  • Campaign-Focused Content Creation: Develop high-quality, short-form content for a variety of marketing campaigns, including:  
  • Advertising Copy: Write concise and impactful ad copy for various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads, display ads) that grabs attention and encourages clicks. 
  • Landing Page Copy: Craft compelling landing page content that drives conversions by highlighting key benefits and calls to action. 
  • Marketing Email Copy: Create engaging email subject lines, preheader text, and body copy that increases open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. 
  • Social Media Posts: Develop creative and engaging social media content that aligns with brand voice and platform best practices, including captions, tweets, and short-form video scripts. 
  • Sales Collateral: Write concise and persuasive copy for sales materials such as brochures, one-page sheets, and presentations. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the marketing team including demand generation, digital marketing, events, and creative; as well as other team members to understand campaign objectives and target audience, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all platforms. 
  • Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of content strategies by brainstorming creative ideas and identifying opportunities for short-form content optimization. 
  • SEO Optimization: Incorporate relevant keywords and SEO best practices into content where appropriate to improve search engine visibility. 
  • A/B Testing: Collaborate on A/B testing initiatives by creating variations of ad copy, landing page content, and email copy to optimize campaign performance. 
  • Proofreading and Editing: Ensure all content is error-free, grammatically correct, and adheres to brand guidelines. 
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms in short-form content marketing.

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing copy writing, with a strong emphasis on short-form content creation. 
  • Proven ability to write concise, persuasive, and engaging copy for various marketing channels. 
  • Excellent understanding of marketing principles and best practices. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality content at scale. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research. 
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools a plus. 
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant short-form content examples.

We have a distributed team that works remotely across locations in the United States. We are open to candidates from most states but collaboration within core working hours is required.
