Astera Labs Inc. is seeking a skilled and proactive entry-level Hardware Lab Engineer to join our dynamic hardware team in developing world class connectivity products.

 

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Lab Engineer to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hardware development environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and the ability to manage various responsibilities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside skilled engineers and technicians, contributing to the building, testing, and validation of connectivity products used by the world’s leading cloud service providers, server and network OEMs

Key Responsibilities

· PCBA rework and soldering

· Assemble, inspect, and test modules/subassemblies to ensure quality

· Organize inventory of lab tools, equipment, peripherals, and consumables

· Assemble hardware setups, including server racks and related hardware systems

· Work closely with engineering team to perform basic electrical and functional testing on PCBAs and hardware components

· Document and revise lab procedures

· Collaborate with engineering teams on various hands-on tasks
