Senior Solutions Consultant
Job Overview:
The purpose of the Bank Channel Solution Consultant position is to materially assist growing the AvidXchange customer base from the acquisition of new business, generated through both referral and reseller bank partnerships.
For referral bank partners, you will work collaboratively with the Bank Partner Manager adding value throughout the sales process in the areas of initial qualification and discovery analysis, solution positioning, and product demonstrations. You will also provide accounting system / integration expertise, and AvidXchange documentation & reference gathering.
For reseller bank partners, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional AvidXchange team members including Partner Sales Enablement, Partner Marketing and Product Marketing (PMK) to assist in sales enablement training and certification. You will be the primary SME for supporting the reseller bank’s resources in understanding AvidXchange products and solutions, ensuring proper client fit and collaborate internally/externally for overall reseller bank success.
What you'll do:
- You will work opportunities assigned from the referral bank(s) partner sales team in conjunction with the Bank Partner Manager.
- Impact AvidXchange’s revenue by winning opportunities, bringing in TSV to achieve quota, & working to achieve your personal annual Sales OTI.
- You will work closely with your aligned Bank Partner Manager to lead the selling, training, & product sessions with the supporting bank personnel.
- Clearly able to articulate the benefits of AvidXchange’s applications to all levels including line of business managers, Bank Product leaders and "C" level executives.
- Conduct initial qualification and scope discovery sessions to pre-qualify customers.
- Develop, present, and deliver high-impact demonstrations of the AvidXchange solution.
- Educate & train Partner SC/sales teammates to ensure they are evaluating the best fit customers for AvidXchange.
- Manage pipeline in conjunction with the Bank Partner Manager to review opportunities, conflict, & update Salesforce accordingly.
- Maintain strong relationships with AvidXchange Product Marketing, Product Development and CX teams for identified area(s) of product expertise (product champion).
- Communicate with Product Marketing and Development teams related to Voice of Prospect feedback.
- Gather internal communications, material, enhancements, & integration updates to provide to the supported partner.
- Attend Bank/Partner Events and professionally represent AvidXchange to prospects, customers, and partner(s).
- Complete Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Client Compliance Questionnaires as assigned by the supported partner or by the client of the support partner.
- Understand the competitive landscape & customer needs to effectively position AvidXchange’s Software/Service Model.
- Be able to articulate not only the customer journey, but the customers vendor journey with AvidXchange.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of software-as-a-service consulting or onboarding experience.
- An in-depth understanding of AP automation, software solutioning, & working with partners/clients.
- Experience leveraging a CRM tool for report generation and sales tracking.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present to a wide range of audiences, including an ability to communicate business and technical concepts clearly, effectively and convincingly through presentations.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Technically capable of using and demonstrating AvidXchange solutions.
- Highly effective in creating a compelling reason to buy through defined marketing messaging and the presentation of AvidXchange value propositions.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or Equivalent Experience
- Background in working with either Mid-Market, Bank Channel or Enterprise customers.
- Background in managing partners and/or account management.
- Must be able to travel domestically up to 30%
- Traveling for client events, partner events, AvidXchange events, & conferences.
