As a Product Designer, you will take ownership of the full product design lifecycle from research and concept development through to prototyping, validation, and launch.
You’ll work closely with real end users, translating insights into meaningful design solutions that enhance our trading platforms and deliver exceptional user experiences.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that blends deep UX research with polished UI design. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life, ensuring our products are not only visually compelling but also grounded in user needs, data, and technology feasibility.
Your EDGE Assignment/You Will
- Design end-to-end mobile experiences (iOS and Android) that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user and business goals.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with real users (retail traders), translating insights into actionable design improvements.
- Translate research findings into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering team to ensure seamless handoff and implementation of designs.
- Integrate AI tools and workflows into the design process to enhance creativity, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure all designs are accessible, responsive, and optimized for performance across web and mobile trading platforms.
- Collaborate in workshops and design sprints to align ideas, define requirements, and support product vision.
- Partner with engineers during implementation to ensure design intent and quality are preserved through launch.
- Stay current on emerging UX, AI, and fintech trends to continuously refine design practices and elevate user experience.
Are you the one?
- 4-5 years of of hands-on Product Design / UX/UI experience, ideally within a B2C platform in Financial Services Industry.
- Experience design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Proven experience working end-to-end from initial user research and concepting through design delivery, stakeholder presentation, and post-launch optimization.
- Experience using research tools such as UserTesting, Maze and Lyssna or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of design systems e.g. building, maintaining, and scaling them across teams.
- Experience with or understanding trading platforms, financial tools, or personal interest in trading and investing.
- Proficiency in AI tools and workflows (beyond ChatGPT), such as for ideation, data visualization, usability analysis, or design automation.
- Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a user-first mindset.
