The Role:

AXS is seeking an Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the month end close process, updating accounts receivable and assisting with accounts payable as necessary. 

 

What Will You Do?

  • Participate in the month-end close, including general ledger reconciliations and posting of monthly journal entries
  • Responsible for accounts receivable process, which includes maintenance of customer accounts, monthly invoicing and daily cash receipts
  • Assist with A/P process. Work with accounts payable to ensure invoices are accurate and paid in a timely manner
  • Manage priorities and issues where conflicts arise
  • Ad-hoc clerical requests

 

What Will You Bring?

  • High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred) Accounting or related field
  • 0-2 years Accounting or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel required, preferably experience with pivot tables
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required, interacting well across difference function levels and personality types
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory/GAAP
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills

 

Pay Scale: $23.17 - $33.59
