Manager, Sales 1
Work Mode: Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.
Essential Job Duties

As a recognized leader in brand, innovation, and culture, we’re searching for an exceptional Sales Manager to lead one of our net-new sales teams focused on the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market.

You’ll own pipeline generation, guide sales execution, and drive revenue growth. You will:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and inspire a team of Account Executives (AEs) focused on building pipeline and closing net-new business.
- Drive team performance through structured coaching, setting clear expectations, and fostering accountability.
- Mentor reps on key sales skills including prospecting, calls, demos, and closing strategies.
- Provide hands-on support for strategic and complex deals, acting as a trusted advisor in critical sales cycles.
Pipeline Strategy & Execution
- Design and implement scalable, data-driven prospecting strategies targeting ideal customer profiles and key decision-makers.
- Partner with Marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and lead conversion tactics for maximum impact.
- Guide reps in building and prioritizing target account lists to increase conversion rates and close velocity.
- Promote best practices around outreach quality, personalization, and disciplined sales activity cadence.
Coaching & Performance Management
- Leverage sales data to identify coaching opportunities, track rep effectiveness, and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Establish a consistent cadence of 1:1 meetings, pipeline reviews, call coaching, and performance check-ins.
- Model behaviors and mindsets that drive success, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous learning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Building
- Collaborate closely with Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to optimize processes and enhance rep readiness.
- Play an active role in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top talent to strengthen the team.
- Cultivate a team environment grounded in transparency, curiosity, continuous learning, and celebration of wins.
What We’ll Love About You
- 2–3+ years of SaaS sales management experience, with a strong track record leading teams responsible for net-new business generation.
- Minimum 2 years as a quota-carrying Account Executive in a SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to drive pipeline growth, consistently meet or exceed quota, and deliver strong team results.
- Experience designing prospecting strategies and coaching reps to excel in execution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from CRM and sales data (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
- Mastery of modern sales methodologies and a deep understanding of solution selling.
- Collaborative, team-first mindset paired with a relentless drive for results.
