Position Overview:
We are seeking a SyteLine Programmer to join our custom development team. This role is essential to delivering high-quality implementations, upgrades, and customizations for our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Infor Mongoose Toolset, Microsoft SQL Server, and C#. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development:
    • Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures.
    • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions for Infor SyteLine.
    • Write functional and technical specifications to guide development.
  • ERP System Customization:
    • Utilize the Infor Mongoose Toolset to create IDOs, Event Handlers, and custom forms.
    • Develop and enhance reporting capabilities using Mongoose Reporting and DataViews.
  • Database Management:
    • Work with Microsoft SQL Server, including SSRS, to design and maintain stored procedures, views, triggers, functions, and tables.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Participate in internal planning meetings to provide feedback on project priorities and progress.
    • Translate business needs into technical solutions and present them in user-friendly language.
    • Offer clear and concise training and consultation to customers.
    • Provide Level 2 support for customizations, troubleshooting system-related issues effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science or 2+ years of relevant work experience with Infor SyteLine (CSI). Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • Proficiency in Infor Mongoose Toolset v8.x–v10.x, including IDOs, Event Handlers, and VB.NET.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher, including SSRS.
  • Knowledge of Transact-SQL (T-SQL) for stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Proficiency in C# for software development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Lake Companies’ products (Shop-Trak, Doc-Trak, Fact-Trak).
  • Manufacturing background or familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Prior experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial or similar ERP systems.

  • Highly self-motivated and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to establish effective working relationships.
  • Capable of performing multiple tasks concurrently and responding effectively to emergency situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Willingness to seek assistance and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Flexibility for on-call availability, including work outside standard business hours and weekends.
