Job Summary
The Digital Technology Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software development and technology initiatives within the Digital Technology organization. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, designers, and business stakeholders, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The Digital Technology Project Manager will be accountable for driving the entire project lifecycle—from initial concept and requirements gathering through development, testing, and deployment—while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and mitigating risks. This individual will also be responsible for managing project resources, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that best practices in software development methodologies (such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) are followed. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an understanding of software development processes, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage software development and technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives, aligning them with strategic business goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and roadmaps, tracking progress and ensuring milestones are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, designers, and product managers, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Ensure the use of best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, proactively identifying solutions and escalating when necessary.
• Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring that communication is clear, and expectations are properly set across teams.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve processes for future initiatives.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Proficient in using project planning tools like Jira or Smartsheet.

• Skilled in identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Expertise in managing client relationships and stakeholder expectations.

• Expertise in change management, handling scope changes, and managing stakeholder expectations during transitions.
• Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, and evolving project needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience in project management, particularly in software development or technology projects, with proven expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• PMP or Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM) preferred, along with strong knowledge of project management tools like Jira and SmartSheets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with experience managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and project resources.
