Job Summary
The Retail Store Manager’s primary role will be to organize and manage retail store locations for NHL Seattle.  This position will be responsible for leading the retail supervisors and our part-time retail staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Supervising and developing full/part-time staff for all retail locations
•    POS system handling, prepare and review sales reports, financial statements, and other performance metrics.
•    Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
•    Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control including stock replenishment and tracking during the launch period to maximize sales opportunities
•    Order and receive merchandise, ensuring timely and efficient restocking
•    Conduct regular stock audits to minimize shrinkage and discrepancies.
•    Organization of the retail stores as per BDA and NHL Seattle merchandising requirements
•    Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
•    Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly 
•    Schedule staff shifts, manage labor OPEX, store expenses and budget, optimizing financial performance.
•    Recruit, train, manage performance and supervise store employees
•    Conducting annual performance reviews of part-time staff 
•    Providing coverage for the Team Store as needed
•    In Collaboration with BDA Marketing team, plan and execute in-store promotions, marketing campaigns and collaborate with the marketing team to drive store traffic and sales.
•    Number of staff reporting to this position. 3-5 keyholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
•    Previous experience in retail management or a related field is required, typically 2-5 years.at a supervisory level
•    Must be able to work a flexible schedule (mainly evenings and weekends)
•    A proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a staff of up to 30
•    Strong leadership and team management skills, and proficiency in retail software and point-of-sale systems.
•    Proficient with Excel spreadsheets and translating data into insights.
•    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to achieving goals.
•    Excellent communication, customer service, and process improvement skills
•    Enthusiastic, self-motivated and eager to learn more about our unique retail industry

 

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $78,000 to $85,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement. Certain revenue-generating positions may be eligible for incentive compensation.
